Here are some more photos from the construction site in Gorden Ave, but a few weeks later. You just need to look past some of the scaffolding in a few of the images, which has been erected since last visit.

This photo is trying to show how the door profile has been cut out of the pre-cast wall panel. If you notice it has been done at the edge of the panel and a foamy block has being placed between the two panels.


In the above images we are able to see, the underside of the floor above, which a suspended floor using a Lysaght Bondek type profile. Also visible are the support form work the timber members being held up with steel rods, that is needed while the concrete cures to its maximum strength.

Ignoring the orange scaffolding, you can see how the column and floor slab are united. The column is most likely connected to the brick underneath, which is just visible, which is then connected to the footings. This means that the floor slab is a concrete infill slab providing clean connections and a flat flooring area.

Details of the roofing members, which is ready for the insulation and roofing material to be placed on. As cross bracing, girders, perlins and beams are all erected and waiting.
