The focus of the image is to highlight the flush connection detailing that has occurred, with the flat slab, and the exterior walls of the floor above. The floor slabs were most likely formed on-site in form work, while the wall slabs may have been cast on-site nearby and lifted into place.

Well the time has arrived to place more photo's onto blog, the image is the outside of a lecture building at the Waurn Ponds Campus, Deakin Uni. and it's showing a flat slab type of construction. With the thick concrete column topped with the capital, supporting the concrete slabs of the floor above. If you also notice inside, (the painted white area) all the services have been attached directly to the concrete slab.
